Robert F.X. Sillerman, Executive Chairman

Sillerman has a proven track record of pioneering some of the most successful and profitable businesses in television, radio, promotion, marketing and live entertainment. With the sales of SFX Entertainment and SFX Broadcasting, Sillerman has driven some of the largest transactions in the history of live entertainment and radio. Function(x) is Sillerman’s ninth public company.

Janet Scardino, CEO

A seasoned television and digital media executive, Scardino launched, operated and expanded many successful businesses for leading brands including: MTV, Disney Channel, AOL, Reuters and American Idol. As a start-up intrapreneur, Scardino has built teams and successful businesses for MTV and Disney Channel and led profitable multi-platform digital businesses, driven by advertising, subscription and e-commerce, for AOL, The Knot and Reuters.

Chris Stephenson, President and COO

Chris Stephenson joined Function(x) in 2011 with seasoned experience in developing internationally recognized advertising, marketing, and entertainment campaigns. Most recently, Chris lead marketing for Interscope Records home of multi-platinum recording artists such as Lady Gaga, Eminem, and U2. Previously, Chris led global entertainment marketing at Microsoft. Earlier in his career, Chris lead marketing and sales for House of Blues and also ran multiple award-winning international advertising campaigns and sponsor-driven programs, including the European Music Awards, for MTV and VH1.

Kevin Arrix, Chief Revenue Officer

Kevin joins Function(x) after a 9 year stint at MTV Networks where he was Executive Vice President, Digital Advertising, MTV Networks Digital. In this role, Kevin was in charge of sales, operations, marketing, strategy and product development for the various brands at MTV Networks, including MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central. Kevin started his tenure at MTV Networks in 2003 as VP, Nickelodeon Digital Ad Sales. He soon started managing an East Coast television ad sales team on top of digital responsibilities before moving to SVP MTVN Digital Ad Sales in 2006. Prior to MTV Networks, Kevin held positions at CBSSportsLine (3 years) and Turner Broadcasting (7 years).

Geir Magnusson Jr., CTO

Magnusson has held engineering positions at Gilt Groupe, Joost, Intel, IBM/Gluecode and Bloomberg. Most recently, Magnusson was at Gilt Groupe as Chief Architect and VP of Platform Engineering. He has a proven track record in building scalable secure platforms for entertainment, e-commerce and the financial markets.
